Being that weekly outlet our folks had to forget about all their problems..the showcase of black culture..old heads say it was damn near a religion back then.

It would never happen today though. Rap is either on some conscious shyt or some lean sipping, molly popping nonsense. Nothing in between really with straight party and dance music. (shout out to the DMV tho with house and gogo..thats the closet thing we have these days)

And can we bring back live instruments instead of 1 dude with a mic and a DJ with a mac
