What did he say that you didn't already know? He had a price and they matched his price. You don't do the right thing because it pays. All his juelzxplaining is irrelevant

Don't get mad at all these sellouts just support better people. Ain't not consequences to c00ning. Being mad isn't a consequence. They are all being treated like minstrels without the make up and accepting of it.
This is the most important part! But our folks are so kind and forgiving and will welcome him back with open arms after a month or two. Moving out here on emotions is why the community is in the state we're in. The other races don't play like that. They'll close ranks around those that are truly for the cause and leave the others out to starve.

Soulja boy ain't got no hits left.......Nelly makes pop country and snoop lyrics on songs have been smashmouth levels of gibberish for awhile........
All Nelly has to do is trot out Ashanti and that baby... The women will forgive him and scream relationship goals and the brehs will dap him up for seeding up Ashanti. Then all will be forgiven...smh

1) Soulja Boy was always wack. Crank Dat was a sign of the apocalypse for Classic (read: "real") Hip Hop.

But.. it's a classic. First Internet rapper to seriously blow. And definitely an OG for the Contemporary Rap that followed.

2) Soulja has contributed more to the culture as a meme and a funny interview than he did for the actual music. To me.

3) Crank Dat is not on the level of the songs that legacy acts can tour with decades later. Nor is his catalog capable of delivering an entire show of classic material. Basically it caught up with him. There's not much a modern audience can cling to. The nostalgia for Crank Dat is wasted on people who didn't live through it in real time.
