I have a new single called "hands up" that was released through Sound Alive Records/Sony. Today they removed my song saying it contained samples of "hands up by cole james cash" which is owned by sound alive records.

my soundcloud name=cole james cash
my label= sound alive records/sony
my song=hands up


how stupid can you fukking be? fukk soundcloud for this. removing my own record and im already signed. it was removed as the single is gaining a little bit of traction nearing 3k plays in about a week (not alot but its getting there) and they remove it.

i did more than submit them an email, i went through my label along with submitting them an email, theres a backdoor that can be reached when labels have an issue. im just venting. "im pretty sure theyre not on the coli" im fully aware of this. dont be pretentious.

I feel your pain. Ive had original productipns and mixes i made removed from my soundcloud for the exact same reason. That site is lowkey going down the tubes and ive been using it to promote my music since 2008.

If I'm correct it's out in April, was some delays but is finished and upcoming, but Cole can correct me if I'm mistaken which I could be, but it will be out though.

From the sounds of it will be more than worth it too, sounds ill what I've heard so far.

Yup. They just run an algorithm that sweeps everything in sections... you're gonna have to deal with them personally and let them know who you are
