Sources: Frustrated Kristaps Porzingis skips Knicks meetings

Kristaps Porzingis skipped exit meetings with New York Knicks management due to frustration over what he perceives as the dysfunction and drama surrounding the organization, team sources told ESPN.com. :francis:

The Knicks have struggled in Porzingis' two seasons in New York, losing a combined 101 games. :mjcry:

Porzingis, according to team sources, is frustrated with the lack of direction with the team, which is headed by team president Phil Jackson.

The team has missed out on the playoffs for the fourth straight season.

Porzingis was drafted fourth overall out of Latvia by the Knicks in the 2015 NBA Draft. He finished this season averaging 18.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Phil needs to.be fired at this point and I say that as a die hard Knicks fan.

Wake up and smell the roses Dolan, Phil has the legacy in Chi and LA but the COACH doesn't run the triangle like Phil wants, the PLAYERS want to run more, the PLAYERS don't like the dysfunction, the TEAM sucks, the SIGNINGS AND TRADES have been TRASH.....PHIL is the problem. All of this goes back to him. Get rid of him, get a modern GM, let the team play tempo, make a solid PG pick in the draft, and focus on building around KP and that pick and fostering leadership abilities in KP. Let him take over as the centerpiece. It's not even really Melo's fault anymore. Can't expect him to do anything when he's constantly undermined.

Phil needs to go. Can't throw the whole team under the fukkin bus. Get this nonsense out of here.

Good for him. I hope he leaves after his term here in New York. He looks up to Melo like a big brother and they shytting on him without shame. He sees himself in that position while he is only in his second year.

First George Karl then Phil Jackson, let Melo live.
