I am told by a South African friend that most of the racist cacs in SA are from the Netherlands and they call themselves Boers whilst the english were mostly against apartheid and that was part of the reason South Africa boers disliked the English.

They don't. The Dutch were the "OG" white settlers in SA and when the British did their whole colonial thing during the 19th century, the British tried to give the Boers that work. Them Dutch boys weren't having any of it, so they had it out officially, which is known as the Boer war.
