Is this a Trump W? :lupe:

Steel will be used for Hyundai Cars which are already being produced in America.

Trumps tariffs are getting credit for this move.

This isn't a microwave de using making process. They would have had all this in motion prior to dump taking office and are now finalizing......if they were smart they would keep him away from they brand

Modern Day Hyundais are legit and just as reliable as Japanese cars

They also got the best warranty in the industry or at least they did. Not sure if they still do.
The EVs are good too.

And of course the Genesis line.
Yeah I really don’t know what some of the posters are saying ITT when they bash

Palisades, Tellurides, and Santa Fe’s are about the best you’re gonna get for SUVs.. to me the Sante Fes are nicer. Especially the Caligraphy trim

Like you said the Genesis line is obviously their luxury type.

The Hyundai CEO mentions he had discussions about this in 2019 when Trump was in office. This move makes complete sense for hyundai because they just opened two manufacturing plants in GA and AL with the Steel Plant being built in between the two. And also allows them to bypass tariffs so it's a W for Hyundai. Won't know if it's W for America until we see Americans being hired for these positions.

I've had a 2013 Genesis Rspec 5.0, a 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate, and now a 2025 Genesis GV80 Premier. I have been very pleased with all of my purchases so far. The GV80 is still new, so it has time to disappoint me, but so far I have been very pleased with it.

Almost pulled the trigger on a GV80 when my wife's QX60 was acting up, but it was a transmission issue that was in recall and they completely replaced the transmission.

But was this close to getting one for her last year.

I'll wait until it's built & operational , why couldn't General motors or Ford do something like this to insure their steel & aluminum supplies ?
