Yes, I do a few "yes ma'am"s every now and then for sure.

When I first moved to Atlanta though, it was a shock to me when a black student let out a loud ass "Yes SUH" in response to a white teacher.

shyt made me feel mad uncomfortable.

ATL, but rasied in DMV
Maybe this is a little off topic, but I notice down South, White men still address Black men as "man", instead of sir, regardless of the Blacks mans age. Even White cops do this to Black men down South. In the North, the cops will at least half the time address a Black man as "sir", especially if he's middle-aged or above.

Customer Service in the South killed the yes ma’am and Sir to a certain extent. Especially when it’s said sarcastically.

The Truth
Yes… especially to women

I even do it to younger women sometimes. Sometimes it bothers them but I know that

Lol yes I do and it’s bad. I make a mistake and tell people my age that and they find it hilarious.
