Breh, kids 20 and under were under 10 Wade was killin itin college. They watched him blow up. I talk sports with my younger cuz and his boys and that's their overall opinion. You're right about Kobe, but Wade was their "guy" growing up. Now he's old to them.

i just dont understand this... i am 27.. i was 16 or something in 2003... it was melo and lebrons time... not d-wade... they were all drafted that same year... and even when d-wade won the title in 2005... it wasnt like in spectacular fashion.. maybe its regional... cause i dont ever remember a time where d-wade was universally that dude...

It may be a regional thing. The championship played a huge role in it too. I don't get it either. I've heard some wild things pertaining to sports and music from this demographic. Just look at it from a 9 year old being mesmerized watching him on TV. He's "Flash" to them.

Another common thing that I see in this age group are Falcon fans, because Vick was ballin there during their impressionable years.
