Banks about to :eat: some more......declare the country insolvent, and install one of their bank goons oversee a democratically elected country.....cause I'm sure Spain is going "Go Greek" if they start talking austerity

As an aside, Spain didn't want a bailout, they were essentially given no choice in the matter by the Germans. That is how the EU works now, by decree.

:aicmon: Do they think it's actually going to work this time around? SMH

No one knows what is going to work. They are just trying to keep economies from going bankrupt so they can repay their debts and ensure the German and French and British banks stay afloat. And on top of that trying to put in place austerity measures to ensure people minimise their deficits, cut expenses and limit borrowing. Course, no one is going to follow these austerity measures and the bailouts are financed by more debt, so its all one big clusterfukk. :beli:

Things are not looking good for Europe. They may end up dragging the rest of the world down with them.

I think this is the start of the end really. It could take over a trillion dollars to actually fix Spain. Even if the debts were written off and Banks were nationalized somehow there's still no way to protect the depositors(no money). Italy is about to spiral out of control by the look of it as well. The size of Spain's real estate debacle is unimaginable all over the country prices were halved or quartered, million + houses and apartments are vacant. Even on the outskirts of Madrid there are whole communities that were built that are unfinished or vacant. It's the same around the entire country as well.

I don't feel bad for them, they have been :eat: well for the past 500 years. Its time for them to be Africa status. :lolbron:

Yeah dude, and I'm sure when Spain, Italy, Greece etc collapse along with the Eurozone, that won't have the slightest effect on the American economy. :umad:
