Yo the fight scene at the begining of the last episode was epic.

I started watching Sparticus like a month ago, at first I thought the special effects were cheezy but by the end of the 2nd season I didnt even notice it. A sex scene every episode will keep a nikka watching.

Spartacus utilizes green screen and they are going for a different over-the top, violent, bloody style while GOT uses real locations and is a different tone. Not nearly as much as an action series as Spartacus, but they did a fantastic job last season with the Battle on Black Water.

THINK ABOUT THAT B. THERE'S LIKE SO MANY BATTLES IN THE BOOKS. IN SEASON 1, THEY BYPASSED A BATTLE BY HAVING THE MIDGET GET KNOCKED UNCONSCIENCE.

This thread is truth but it's also obvious. Both shows prescribe to different lanes though so you can't hate too much on GOT's action sequences. I fukks with em both

On a similar note I gotta say sometimes the slow/bullettime/matrix/whateverdafukk takes away from the battles in Sparty. Them fast paced battles from certain points in the first season are much better than these new ones where half the amount of time they fightin is dedicated to slowing shyt down.

Yea I wouldn't mind if GoT went green screen and showed the major battles. fukk if it looks corny better corny than not showing anything at all. Obv they dis a goodjob with blackwater but that shyt prolly cost more than a whole season of Spartacus. Was it worth it just to cut out all that other shyt and make it seem more realistic? I say nah

Even more of an argument for green screen. The sets alone for the battle must've cost a grip add in the green fire effects and they couldn't even afford a good amount of extras
