Speaking of Radio Air Play...Who's famous/infamous without it?

The South has historically had a lot of artists eating off of local sales, club play, and local shows. Houston in particular. (H-Town stay down!)

In these modern days, XXXtentacion comes to mind as someone without radio airplay that was "huge".
Based God aka Lil B is another one.

Since we now live in a post radio/algorithm era, who's made a name for themselves without radio play?

The most correct answer. Dude is by far the most successful artist sales wise with very limited radio and mainstream support.

I also think MF Doom has a pretty sizable following(7.5 million monthly Spotify listeners) for a man who's literally never charted a single song on Billboard. His death might've played a role in that though.
