Not sure how many people here were on SOHH back in the day but at the height of his popularity around the time he dropped Black boy White boy with Dro, he was damn near dominating "The Spot"



Got his ass whooped and dropped, now he's a footnote in rap history..

suntrust leland is still the best work in the entire genre.
it just so happened he was to much of a wanna fit in guy when he already was at the label to be, and should have just been patient through any admin issues. which if he would have just chilled and never precipitated admin issues with grand hustle while ti was still away.
he would have never been looking for a new crew after being on the outs with grandhustle and seeking a new crew.
which lead to him becoming food for dte.

if not for that, he was easily and potentially the highest drawing artist in the genre.
as he had the skills and ability to make the next big hit in the genre.
before racks broke and even after racks broke.

ever since that dte shyt it is like he lost his way and i continue to tune into his material.
yet, have not even be rewarded with one song since that incident to bump or like.

shame cause he had next easy.
