I honestly really really like it. The team up issues used to be special moments when I read comics back as a kid. When another hero you enjoy would come in for an issue or two, maybe a whole arc, and kick shyt together.

It wouldn’t make sense for there to not be at least one or two other heroes to show up when Spidey is going through something like that. People are always like, “Where was everyone else when Captain America fought Hydra” and other shyt like that. Peter’s identity was compromised. How the fukk is he supposed to fix what’s to come by himself?

Easy answer, because he is not in his own universe like he was when toby or andrew was spiderman.
Plus marvel might not have access to his main villains unless used in a certain way but not 1 for a main plot like sinister 6 marvel can use green goblin but not in a movie where it's just spiderman v green goblin focused.
And they brought in Peter in a whole marvel universe that's was already established with heroes so if course being that he is young he would get assistance from older experienced heroes

Also after phase 2 marvel include other heroes in movies
Civil war had all the avengers
Thor ragnorak had the hulk in it
The first spiderman had iron man, second one had nick fury stand in
Captain marvel had nick fury
Only black panther truly had his own movie, and the first antman.
