Most Puerto Ricans in tri state are just blacks that speak Spanish, ive never had issues with them like all the other island countries. They grew up in the hood right next to you, wasn't much difference besides what language they used at home. They assimilated into black culture which is rare.

Florida Ricans are way different than NYC ones, I dont think most understand that who didn't grow up next to east coast ones.
