It's a great scene and does justice to how tense the townie vs college student issue can be. There's often a lot of resentment and jealousy towards people who go to local universities because their economy literally depends on the dollars we bring to the town. When school is over, layoffs coincide.

One of the bigger myths that locals had towards students at Syracuse is that we were all rich because seeing a Range Rover or X5 was common on The Hill.
