Not a major shift by any means, but if you were looking forward to Spike Lee's Oldboy (which stars Josh Brolin as Joe Doucett, Elizabeth Olsen, Sharlto Copley and Samuel L. Jackson), you're now going to have a little longer to wait. Read on for details!
As you can see from the Tweet below, the release date of Spike Lee's Oldboy has been shifted from October 11th, 2013 to October 25th, 2013. That's only a difference of two weeks and moves the remake away from Sin City: A Dame to k!ll, but closer to both Ender's Game and Thor: The Dark World. However, this does mean that the release of the the film is now a fair bit closer to Halloween, something which might just end up working in its favour.

Spike Lee's OLDBOY will now drop 10/25/13 instead of 10/11.
OLDBOY follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement without any indication of his captorΒs motive. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment. His quest for revenge leads him into an ill-fated relationship with a young social worker (Elizabeth Olsen) and ultimately to an illusive man (Sharlto Copley) who allegedly holds the key to his salvation.
