respect to the OP but i have to get this off my chest before it manifests into a health problem. this is deeper than this topic. people have a way of UNINTENTIONALLY low-balling with these threads. that trick daddy album is a southern classic but 400 degreez is an all-around hip-hop classic, as well as a landmark release.
i said something similar in that BG vs c-murder thread. i get the comparison, and c-rmurder is a legend too, but BG should be mentioned with the styles ps and 50 cents of the world
you never see stuff like this regarding east coast artists. you dont see threads like "jadakiss vs fabolous" even tho the similarities are there, cuz we all know jada's legend is on another level.
wayne had to go get his style from philly & harlem, and then go mainstream in order to get his props. funny thing is, he was the weakest hot boy. sure, he eventually surpassed turk, but he never truly did anything to get a higher all-time rank than BG & juvi.
its time to make a change brehs. this chit is criminal.
thats why i like that 400 degreez/hard knock life thread. cuz thats the level 400 degreez was at.
trick daddy would be better off compared to "charge it to 2 da game" or something like that.
