NBA players have to be ranked in Tiers. Kobe is a 2nd Tier player.

GOAT Tier: MJ, Kareem, LeBron

1st Tier: Shaq, Russel, Wilt, Hakeem, Bird, Duncan, Durant, Magic

2nd Tier: Kobe, Nash, Dirk, Wade, Curry, Robertson, Garnett, Pippen, Barkley, Malone, etc

Kobe by himself is a 1st round exit. He's not in that super-elite ridiuclous class of guys who make you say :mindblown: when you go through their accomplishments.

Edit: This is a quick list too so if I forgot somebody don't hate

Kobe aint no 2nd tier....:camby:
He's sittin comfortably in the first tier.

Then this clown has KD ranked in front of Kobe...as if he's ever had to shoulder the weight or scrutiny Kobe had to endure (and this is comin from someone that likes KD more than Kobe).....:mjlol:

Comfortably in the first tier.
Kobe by himself isn't doing what Duncan did. Or Hakeem did. He isn't taking a team from drafting top 3 to 60+ wins the next year (his ROOKIE year) like Bird did. He isn't causing the league to allow Zone defenses like Shaq did. He isn't completely and utterly unguardable like Durant. And he isnt changing the history of the game ala Wilt/Russel.

Every single one of those guys had more impact on their team's success than Kobe did.
