Children of Men, I'll get hate but fukk Mel Gibson anyway. His later movies Apocalypto and Passion of the Christ weren't that good. Both were extra-bloody for no reason, and the only thing they had going for them. There was no narrative, just people get fukked up for 2+ hours.

Apocalypto is a great film, actually super underrated IMO. But also, IMO, Children of Men is at worst a top 5 sci-fi movie of all time. I personally sit it at 2. Being that sci-fi is my favorite genre, I gotta go with that.

Never saw Children of Men, what makes it Sci-Fi.
