ok, and it hasn't had an impact since. don't nobody break that shyt out. no one is checking for that over the songs on this list, nor many others that weren't listed.

:laff: I forgot where, but somebody was clowning that song something awful. I mean, I remember it being huge when it dropped. I actually thought it was cool, but it is forgettable.

All of them is bangers but Nice & Slow one of my favorite songs of all time.

This was also a big record. I heard this the other day:

Just listened to Are You That Somebody?

Next- Too Close none of those songs sparked an internet sensation 18 years later

:lolbron:

these songs define 98 R&B along with the Brandy/Monica song.

I'm adding this song because i wore this song out by x mas 98

once we got to the late-90s, I didn't really care for most of the bigger hits like that.

I kinda just voted for whatever on the 97-99 polls.

prolly gonna go back & change all my votes for those years. lol.

cuz this shyt aint timeless nor bigger than the current list...this the first time i've seen that song brought up since it came out :dead:
edit: we get it, you were in love in 97/98 lol

I think that was a #1 single.

one of those huge dark-horse singles with not much payola behind it.

I never dug it tho. looked like some chit out of eve's bayou.

thread aint "highest charting/most popular r&b song", it's about the best single, that shyt is :camby:

you can keep that as your personal classic to remind you of your first love, aint nobody else sweating that song :guccie:

:picard:
