if you could remake any classic black film which one would it be and which actors would you choose?

I don't know. Movies like Menace, Boyz In The Hood etc.. are synonymous with the times they were made in. I gotta think on it.

How about I put a spin on your spin.
I would remake Pretty Woman, but cast the lead male and female roles with Rihanna and Denzel Washington.
I'd still keep Jason Alexander as the creepy executive co-worker who tries to take advantage of her.

Sometimes, remakes aren't all that. Look at Total Recall. The remake was so-so.

I guess for a black cinema movie, I would remake Foxy Brown with Sanaa Lathan.
