I think it’s common to game based on emotional state. I guess stress has varying degrees of severity but for me, to unwind and kind of ease into the next part of the day, or to get ready to call it a night, Death Stranding 2 was excellent for that. Red Dead Redemption 2 has that quality as well. I think any game that gives the player a large amount of freedom while still have meaningful activities throughout work well for stress relief. You can take it slow and enjoy the scenery or get into some action whenever you decide instead of the game forcing you one direction or another.

Bruh real talk I bought a brand new game, and stopped about 50% through that game and re played spider man 2 just to go through the story again. Finished the story in a few days lol.

I think I had just finished a marvel movie and was just in the mood for more marvel.

I stopped playing death stranding 2 just to play Pokémon ultra moon on the 3ds. I stay getting side tracked lol

Death Stranding 2. Game is relaxing as hell. Like the original, I can create structures or restore roads for two hours, delivering lost cargo that happens to be on the path I'm taking while Low Roar plays on the in game music player and end up enjoying myself.

I bought Robocop but haven't played it yet

I usually put on COD BO6 and do the 3 daily missions they have for multiplayer.
Once I finish that I either get off or I complete cards or weapon missions to level up.
Bout to unlock whatever's after diamond.. sapphire is it?

It changes all the time for me, I used to play Tetris for this reason. Anyone here play Tetris 99 or The newest Xbox one I'm forgett the name at the momenty

Pretty much all gaming is stress relief to me. But I'll usually play something super chill or auto-pilot like if don't want to think much or am low energy stressed, something like Wanderstop or Sword of the Sea or Streets of Rage 4 random Nightmare mode.
