I already know. We've talked about it multiple times. She misses me cause how good I treated her & her daughter. If she needed anything & I had, it was hers. She said multiple times she feels like she lost her best friend & wants me in her life. She wants all the benefits of having me around but not the actual commitment.

I'm not doing this "move slow," or "be friends" shyt with her but she keeps trying. She wants me to make changes but I've told her I'm not doing that shyt until she's mine again.

This isn't the first time she's contacted me, just the most recent.

Think about it this way chief. Have you ever heard of a person throwing away their favorite pair of shoes or jeans if they can still fit them and it's still in style?

I didn't think so.

I say that to say people don't get rid of things they value so if a woman shook you then it was because she found something she valued more. If she gets back in contact with you it's because who she left you for wasn't as good as she thought and she knows she can keep you in reserve because you haven't moved on.

We separated because I refused to quit drinking & other personal shyt. Not another dude. She gave me an ultimatum & I refused to accept it. She's contacted me multiple times asking me to be a part of her life, but she won't commit until I accept certain terms.

That's why I asked the question. Because now I was considering changing to get her back.

That wasn't it. It was the ultimatums, I don't do ultimatums. My girl is not gonna get comfortable telling me do shyt or she's leaving on a regular basis. Trying to use my love to control me.

I've had 3 seizures due to alcohol withdrawal. I told her I wasn't attempting to quit again unless she was by my side. I stopped drinking cold turkey to prove myself to her & was fukking myself up. I'm not quitting to be a friend. She feels like I'm giving her an ultimatum.
