I know there are alot of threads on how you knew the employer wasn't going to hire you.... But on the flip side. Has there been anything said in an interview that made you

G5L.gif

I remember an interview I did years ago. The interviewer was talking about how laid back the job is and the "freedom" to do what you want, typical stuff lol. Then I'm seeing him look like he hasn't slept, and being interrupted like 4 times in a 20 min interview I'm thinking :jbhmm:

Then he said "You know the job is 1099, would that be ok?".. I wasn't that put off from it. But then he was like "I used to work in Accounting, I can meet you in a Starbucks and I can help you during tax time". I don't know, but the fact that he put it like that made me :patrice:

Glad I denied that shyt

Yes a few months ago, it was two things

1) They said they were trying to implement more in office days. I currently only go in one day a week

:hhh:

2) The division policy stated we couldn't start our day until 8am. I like to log in/go in at 6am so I can be off early

:hhh:

My patience got me a managerial promotion in my same agency with the same schedule. I'm good :pachaha:

Yep…

”We work hard and play hard.” aka We all hang out together, after working long hours, get fukked up and stagger back to work like we never left.

:whoa:

“Do you have a copy of your resume?” You mean the one I sent you to get this interview?

:skip:

“I’m sorry I’m running late, can we reschedule?”

:mjlol:

Heard some guy suddenly yell out in pain in the back, the operations manager paused our interview to see what was up. He came back to tell me the guy got his arm crushed and we'd have to reschedule the rest of the interview but he liked me as a candidate....

Not really. I typically know what I'm getting into and look at glassdoor reviews prior to applying more prevalent now than ever.

Before this current job, I was unaware of temp to hire jobs not offering pto or vacation. My "former friend" offered me a job but the stipulations and him being a dıck made me leave and hop to another job, no 2 week notice and stop talking to him completely (he's a weirdo).

The temp agency paid him $1,500 under the table for anyone hired (kept that shıt secret).

Needless to say he was my manager and the nıgga had me doing all kinds of shıt unbeknownst outside the job description, working front desk IT and driving to other locations to do IT, encouraging me to stay late so I won't get fired, come in extra early so I can show I'm dedicated, everything was under the spotlight (camera) dead center at the entrance and I was being micromanaged to death.

My other coworker was really smelly (Indian of course) and worked right under me.

Nıgga (former friend) would passive aggressively talk all type of ways acting mad feminine plus i couldn't have no facial hair so I was looking like a pubescent swole bıtch while taking orders. 🤮

Nıgga lied about everything saying the job was easy and that he had my back but started sassying it once I got there. Too much to go into.

Edit: This job was also permanently temp, meaning nıggas working 10, 15, 20 years still temp having to save up for their own pto's, vacations, benefits so the nıgga set me up.
