often when we talk about slavery a lot call out the common excuses:
"my family is from (insert european country that benefited from slavery anyway)"
or "all whites didn't own slaves"
but we have Deen ON VIDEO admitting her family owned slaves.

she is rich.
she has benefited obviously from generations of slavery.
she sympathizes with her ancestors as if the slaves were wrong for leaving after being freed
she carries on the culture.
should we sue?

i say we do and let this set a precedent against others who have obvious slave owner ancestors, and i want us to go after the businesses as well that benefited from it. we're owed money and we shouldn't act scared to go get what's ours
there are people making money giving tours of slave quarters and plantations but you think blacks are owed none of that?
