I don’t know what the metaverse is. Probably gonna go down a rabbit hole about it sometime soon. But if it’s like VR on crack, then no. People shouldn’t joke about that shyt.

For some reason, when it comes to addressing sexual harassment or degeneracy towards women, some get their hackles raised. Why? Especially if u ain’t got weirdo tendencies yourself? We as a society need to address a lot of entitlement culture surrounding the ideas of sexual harassment, especially towards women.

But many think you gotta be like India b4 they understand the threat of rape culture. But when men start targeting other men sexually, then it’ll get spooky enough for people to say…hold up.:whoa:
And don’t say it’ll never happen. Let the economy get a lil worse. Ain’t nothing new under the sun. The same shyt some talk when women get targeted is gonna haunt a lotta dudes when their landlords trying them for their bussy when the rent is late.

“Why he ain’t go and report it?”
:youngsabo:
And it would be even worse in a virtual reality setting.
Right now, as we type, there’s some sicko minecrafting the biggest of pegs to use on unsuspecting players. Bigmeatlilfeet2022 trying to watch yo six on Battlefield 18.:francis:
Nah, don’t complain. Just log off. It ain’t that big of a deal, remember?:manny:

Sure people do need to log off, and yes there is a :mjlol: quality to this discussion b/c it is happening in a world that ain’t real. But we still always need to address that weird ass penguin in the room too.:comeon:And make that shyt more socially unacceptable.

This is why it funny.

Ignorance on so many different levels.

Don't know what the metaverse is. Making claims that men don't give a fukk because they don't think it'll happen to them, when getting teabagging has been a thing for almost 2 decades.

We don't give a fukk because it is not real.

I agree that it should be talked about.

But it's not sexual harrassment. Its not "gang rape".

And to equate it to those actual horrific acts is egregious in itself.
I don’t think it’s gang rape or assault but it is sexual harassment…quite literally. I don’t equate it with actual physical acts, but it contributes to cultural themes that support those acts. And it’s super creepy that people get more incensed at individuals addressing the harassment than the actual weirdos rubbing their hands together getting ready for a full day of virtual mimicking of rape, molestation, assault.

I think we’re headed down a dark path if we don’t hold users in the metaverse accountable for their degeneracy. Virtual reality shouldn’t give men a pass to be sexual degenerates. I’d be heated if a family member of mine was sexually assaulted in the metaverse. Just my 2 cents.

:hubie:
I mean.. we are holding them accountable

She could’ve blocked and reported… They literally give you instructions how to do so before you join in
