bruh, wendy williams isn't a hip hop radio legend? i get nobody liked her, but she was a pioneer.
I remember her her beefs with Pac, Method Man and just about everyone else. I from the Westcoast and barely listen to the radio now or before she got a show. When I think of a hip hop radio legend I think Sway Calloway. Since I grew up in the Bay Area. What did she pioneer? Can you recommend some interviews?

i don't know if she was first... but she definitely was the biggest when it came to that gossip shyt.. now we can say gossip ain't hip hop. but 20-30 years in the game, major female radio host, did major major ratings numbers, interviews with every major hip hop artist... she deserves to be a radio legend.. you can't name another female or too many males with her longevity or interviews
now as for the gossip... every single station and radio host now has a gossip session.. all of them.. angela yee.. gossip... that asian broad... gossip.. funk flex be going in with bombs... over gossip... she started that.. dissing rappers and singers on air.. she did that way back then... and never got beat up or none of that type of shyt that i know of for it.. she did all that shyt before tmz and would get nikkas heated as hell and rumors started (most true) in the streets... before Mediafakeout... before star and buckwild.. good reason to believe if wendy didn't blow up by doing all that shyt, none of those type websites would be doing that over black stars.. that was always a white hollywood thing to chase celebs and be up in their business
sway.... and tech who everyone forgets..... definitely legends for the same damn reasons.. minus the gossip, they was in it forever and had a long list of classic artist interviews...
in the radio game what more can we qualify you as a legend by??? length on radio (which is hard to do), interviews you can get, ratings, and overall impact

I think she only goes at weak nikkas tho. Im pretty sure nikkas like Suge and Master P have done some shyt behind the scenes that she could air out if she wanted, I wonder why she hasnt tho
