Voodoo is one of my favorite albums ever. I'm talking top 2 along with Maggot Brain
But I'm gonna have to give it to Black Messiah. It's way more ambitious and layered. The songwriting and arrangements evolved so much from precious albums.
BM was a crazy album to drop after a 14 year hiatus
It was one of the albums I listened to the most as a teenager. Definitely a classic, and I'm glad I was able to have it as I came of age. Cause I can look back on it like, "Damn, this aged like wine
