So since everybody is acting :flabbynsick::flabbynsick: in that other thread, I figured I wold make this one for brehs to come in and drop their best ways to keep healthy physically and mentally. Let me start it off.

Stick to an exercise regimen. If you don’t want to pay for a gym membership, try strength-training at home. The muscle you develop will help increase your metabolism: the bodies of muscular people burn more calories even while they’re at rest. To keep your heart in shape, do cardio. One particularly effective way to improve your cardiovascular health is to do interval training, which means alternating between low- and high-intensity activity. This has been shown to be a quick and extremely effective way to improve heart health and endurance. (Anyone over the age of 60 or who has heart disease, high blood pressure, or arthritis should consult a doctor before attempting interval training.)

Limit your vices. Quit smoking, beat drug addiction, and, if necessary, stop drinking. Avoid other risky behaviors like speeding, fighting, unsafe sex, and excessive thrill-seeking.

Keep your mind limber. Read more, solve puzzles, play games of strategy, learn to play an instrument, improve your memory, and never stop learning, even if you feel like you’re “past your prime.” In addition to the fact that staying mentally active is emotionally rewarding, studies have shown that there is a correlation between mentally-challenging activities and a decreased risk of Alzheimer's.

Benefits of eating honey
1. Prevent cancer and heart disease:
Honey contains flavonoids, antioxidants which help reduce the risk of some cancers and heart disease.

2. Reduce ulcers and other gastrointestinal disorders.
Recent research shows that honey treatment may help disorders such as ulcers and bacterial gastroenteritis. This may be related to the 3rd benefit…

3. Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-fungal:
“All honey is antibacterial, because the bees add an enzyme that makes hydrogen peroxide,” said Peter Molan, director of the Honey Research Unit at the University of Waikato in New Zealand.

4. Increase athletic performance.
Ancient Olympic athletes would eat honey and dried figs to enhance their performance. This has now been verified with modern studies, showing that it is superior in maintaining glycogen levels and improving recovery time than other sweeteners.

5. Reduce cough and throat irritation:
Honey helps with coughs, particularly buckwheat honey. In a study of 110 children, a single dose of buckwheat honey was just as effective as a single dose of dextromethorphan in relieving nocturnal cough and allowing proper sleep.

Target: PharmaCorps Coverup of the Most Powerful and Cheapest Medicine Known to Science

Hippocrates - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia father of modern medicine and purveyor of medicinal honey: "Let food be thine medicine."

Honey, the biggest modern cover up of the most useful and practical medicine of all. My claim is based on scientific and historical facts as you shall see.
The most potent and versitile medical substance known to mankind. Capable of putting the hurt
on nearly any ailment if applied correctly, when in a high purity concentrations.

There are apparently no negative side effects of honey on your body, so it is absolutely safe in humans over age 1 when taken responsibly.
However people with severe allergies need to take an extremely extremely small amount and work their way up cautiously, because honey a useful way to alleviate pollen allergies (when you get it locally and pure, you need local pollen to match what you breathe).
If you fear a severe allergic reaction, consult some professionals/experts and inform them you want to try some honey. They can aid you further in discussing possible allergic complications and remedies.
The same goes for diabetics you need to research the issue and consult experts before you take any actions, I have provided information below in relation to this. Exercise caution if you have ailments like these.

Fungicide:
Yes, most fungal infections you have may be slowed, reversed, and likely defeated by honey applications.

Beating Cancer:
Yes, honey possesses "moderate antitumor and pronounced anti-metastatic effects", and can aid in inhibition of various types of cancers.

Diabetes:
Honey use is a good alternative to other sugar sources, and it may even be the best route to treatment

" clinical studies have shown that pure honey is a healthier choice in diabetic diet than table sugar and any other non-nutritive sweeteners such as Splenda, saccharin, aspartame? Honey requires lower levels of insulin compared to regular white sugar and does not raise blood sugar levels as rapidly as table sugar, that is, it has a lower Glycemic Index than sugar. "

Good thread and hopefully it will inspire anyone who doesn't already take care of themselves to start doing so.
I'll just keep it simple and effective, eat clean and get plenty of sleep. After those things have become habitual you must then become, and stay, active :stylin:
Then you have changed your LIFESTYLE. Stay on that course! And remember, we cannot just eat 'good' and sleep well and expect to maintain a youthful spry physical state of functionality well into old age. We must remain active as well.

1. Get enough sleep
2. Don't drink too much
3. Never smoke
4. Exercise in a cardiovascular style 2-3 days a week for 30 minutes.
5. Eat proper food (food meant for our health, not trash for our instinctual pleasures); also, do not eat too much meat (or animal product at all) because we are not designed to eat it as much as it is available to us at present day
6. Keep a positive attitude and try to evaluate a plan for stress opposed to stressing about a problem

Man I can't stress enough to build as much muscle as possible throughout ur 20s. The older u get, the more muscle u will naturally lose. It's cool to focus on the cardio and try to stay thin, but if u stop going to the gym and start to eat trash u gon be :flabbynsick: before u kno it.

And muscle does not turn into fat :aicmon: People still believe in this myth cause their friend who used to be "buff" (probably just swoll @ like 15% body fat) is now :flabbynsick: But what really happened is their friend stopped lifting but continued to eat like he was a IFBB Pro. Simultaneously, he is losing muscle while at the same time gaining fat which makes u :flabbynsick: over time.

Do a few bulks and cuts in your 20s and keep ur diet in check for life and you'll look better than most men in the world fellas.

Heavy lifting helps with strength, otherwise you're going for endurance. ie lower max tension, but greater reps at a lower weight.
