I used to think that too until I moved down south and realized it wasn't true. It all stems from elitism within the black community where those blacks that left the south look down on the ones that stayed. If you wanna throw the c00n label around the real c00ns are the ones that left and still look down on the blacks that stayed. Now all these up north motherfukkers are moving back to the south that the "c00ns" stayed behind to build.

this post got me thinking? Were blacks that left their homes in the South to move West and North c00ns for leaving instead of building their communities and fighting white supremacy?

Hell Oregon had a No Negro clause in their state constitution. Missouri was supposed to be the last slavery allowed state added. So tell me this... Why did West Virginia have slaves when it was created after Missouri?

They weren't c00ns. The elitist attitude that some of them have to southern blacks that chose to stay is the problem. As a whole, currently, I think blacks down south are in a better position than blacks anywhere else in the country.

Virginia wasn't created after the Missouri,, Virginia is one of the first states in the 13 colonies ,,Missouri became a slave state because they needed balance between slave and free states so they created the Missouri compromise which banned slavery above the 36°30' parrelel,,

And yes blacks had it better up north,, these are free states,, why do you think Harriet Tubman had the underground rail road to help the enslaved escape up north

Even tho it was hard to find jobs cuz of discrimination and when they did get jobs they were paid lower but it's better than working 6 days a week for free breaking ya back on a plantation separated from ya family
