I'm going through the whole MG series for the first time and right now I'm on MGS 2. So far it's been cool but the stealth has been damn near non existent until MGS 2. I'll wait til I finish the whole series before I compare it to one of the GOAT Stealth franchises that I've ever played.

But right now...Splinter Cell on miiiiine!!

Mgsv has better gameplay than ANY SC.

Overall gameplay yes in terms of bosses action sequences etc but the stealth mechanics are very dated compared to Splinter Cell although Phantom pain/Ground zeroes have a more modern setup.

I did play SC blacklist using the WiiU gamepad so it enhanced my experience overall. I still need to fully play phantom pain from start to finish to make my final judgement.
