A recent tweet from Playstation France has revealed that Spotify will not launch on Sony’s Playstation until 30th May.
The tweet is in French but we hope that you should be able to decipher what’s being said!
It loosely translates to ‘Playstation Music Service, in partnership with Spotify, will be available on the 30th of May';
The current Music Unlimited service will shut down this month to make way for the new Playstation Music System, but in the mean time it looks like users will have to make do with the USB Music Player.
The reason this is only just a rumour is that Ask Playstation recently told a member that it would be released very soon, so i guess it is all dependent on what their idea of ‘very soon’ is. Playstation France are the legitimate twitter account, as you can see from their verified tick, so we very much doubt they’ve gotten this wrong!
