Spotify says these are the best rap songs in America. Does this mean hip hop is really dead?

I'm officially a old head because I don't know none of these songs I barely keep up with new music unless it's someone I'm specifically waiting on to drop.

Popular doesn’t equal good.

McDonalds sells a ton of burgers probably more than any fast food joint, but we know that there are so many gourmet places that make much better burgers.

Same with rap a lot of those mainstream guys make catchy material that gets radio play but the true jewels are the artists that usually have much smaller followings.
