im here, but as ive said before i cant pick the nba for anything.i bet quite a bit of baseball this morning, my 3 favorites were the white sox -133, the braves -109, the o's +175. if you forced me to bet an nba game tonight, i think the hawks -4 (i see its 4½ now but was 4 all day yesterday and this morning) is a lil light with rondo missing. theres gotta be more fellow gamblers out there now that the lurkers can post
I really regret that I've only gambled when the mood struck and then ended up going kamikaze almost every time. I know that if I control myself and pick a decent amount every day/week I can churn out a profit but I just either lose a lot and quit for a while, or win a lot and quit for a while.
Now the European soccer season is over and the picks become scarce. Got MLS, Brazilian league, and the Scandinavian leagues (which I really hate) - along with MLB (not the best at that one) along with Tennis (which I lean on after my first/second sport choices dwindle) of course.
Always wanted to make threads and stick with it, have a responsibility to pick wisely and always update the thread, but I've always failed. Wanna take this more seriously.
That being said I'll definitely post my top soccer picks every week even if I don't gamble, just as a measure of my knowledge and hopefully helping a few people that wanna gamble on a Saturday morning and they don't know much about whats going on :D

Copa Libertadores (soccer) tonight:
815pm Atletico Nacional pk -160
Two of the most impressive teams in the cup so far, Nacional has some killer offense and a leaky defense. Velez is solid overall but is definitely prone to playing it safe, the offense goes dead sometimes when the occasion strikes. Nacional scored most goals in the group stage out of everyone (16) so Velez will just try and limit them and not go toe to toe yet.
As this is a two-legged round of 16 matchup, Velez won't even be trying to win, just draw. And the draw here means you get your money back, so it's definitely worth the extra insurance. A pk in a two-leg playoff matchup is just priceless.

pinnacle and thegreek are much better, with floyd by decision -125. tough to lay 35 cents worse than what pinnacle has it, but thats what i like, and id rather only lay -160 to win by decision risk than the -750/-800 on him to win
