Actually it was only David Robinson that kept the city from moving pop and Duncan had nothing to do with it, the admiral is also responsible for Duncan staying in town

I know Robinson being drafted is the only reason the team doesn't relocate. But once David had the back injury he wasn't the same. Which is also in the offseasob they got Duncan.

I still feel that the team goes into the trash can without Duncan due to Robinson's injury. Which probably would have still resulted in the team relocating.

Those 5 championships (due to Duncan and pop) for the spurs has all but guaranteed the owner having a built in fan base for the next 30 years. So they ain't going no where any time soon even if they are a perennial lottery team over the next 20 years.
