I'm currently in the market for a new laptop. I'll use it mostly for basic things like internet, maybe typing some lists, writing docs, doing taxes, listening to music, etc. Doing my research I know SSD should be the way to go since they are much faster than laptops with HDD.
I get the whole concept of you should just be working off an SSD and storing your files elsewhere. The catch is I still have a lot of media like music, pictures, etc. I guess I'm kinda
because I'm still not fully sold on putting all my stuff in the cloud
And most of the SSD laptops I'm seeing would barely fit all my media. I know people say i could keep everything on an external but I don't feel like having an external plugged in 24/7. I could get a laptop with a 1 TB HD that would hold everything but I know it's "old" technology now.
Any suggestions on a path forward? I'd much appreciate it
