One of the best party days of the year well unless it's on a Sunday and they technically have all the events the day before but you get the point. Anytime you have a reason to day drink all the way through the night is good in my book. Everyone going hard drinking heavy shyts a good time. You don't even have to be of Irish descent it's all good everyone is welcome to party and enjoy themselves for the day.

Your surname should be spelt O'Neil btw. The Irish indentured servants that went through Ellis Island were illiterate, so the officials spelt their names for them. Hence why its so difficult for Irish Americans to trace their ancestry, even though records exist.

Worked crazy hours during saint patricks week. If we could connect with our diaspora like the micks do - our continent would reap the benefits.

It was quite surreal seeing all the Irish/americans, canadians etc getting all misty eyed for a kip their ancestors left hundreds of years ago.
