Stacey Dash is correct...she had a difficult time articulating why...but she is correct IMO.
Meredith's argument is misleading...when you account for the genders working the same exact jobs, similar credentials, with the same amount of tenure on the job...the differences are generally non existent.
You can't sit there, and have a female teacher compare her salary to a male who's an AeroSpace engineer and say one "only makes 72 cents on the dollar" compared to the other and then call that "sexism."
So be clear In your argument: You do not believe that racial and gender inequalities exist in the American system?
That's why I asked YOU to be clear in YOUR argument, which you were not in your original post. You're wrong, but atleast you clarified.THe argument is very clear, your interpretation of what I've stated simply isn't. Racism and sexism exist, but like Stacey, I agree with the point that it isn't the primary reason as to why economic inequality is the level of where it currently is.
It was very clear, your interpretation of what I stated in your follow up sentence was clearly off track, which is why I had to expand on it on it in my follow up response. That's why I asked YOU to be clear in YOUR argument, which you were not in your original post.
