Given how little you hear about African tech brehs, I'm actually pretty surprised to see all of those dots on the continent. It's kind of crazy that about half of the jobs are in web development. I don't have any intentions to get into it, but if I do it'll definitely be back-end. Looks like if you're comfortable in less than 4 languages :ufdup: . :to: looks like I need to put more work in.

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me to differentiate between Engineer/Developer/Programmer; at the very least, Developer and Programmer are essentially the same. And those people identifying as Ninja/Rockstar/Guru :camby: trying to be all cute and shyt.
Overall, about 73% of developers tell us they think diversity is at least somewhat important in the workplace. 41% of developers say diversity is very important. And developers who most often influence hiring decisions are more likely to believe in the value of diversity than other developer types.
