Those shows were exclusive only on Manhattan Public access. Star wasn't the only one doing those type of shows tho.

I knew a few cats who would pay for live feeds just to do 30 minute shows on Manhattan cable...Most of those shows consisted of Hip Hip videos. "indie sent exposure" was a show that graduated from public access to online info. U also had call in shows like Car Show. The poster @Big Skilly Films used to have this show where it would be like 15 LES dudes in a room and dudes would call in and as soon as someone talked slick everyone in the room would issue death threats and give the address to the location so they can shoot it out. LOL If I'm not mistaken the PA station was somewhere around the 50's...I cant remember. But yeah Star was one of the better shows on Manhattan Public Acess but others were doing the "get high and drink on camera while talking shyt to callers' thing before Star.

Yeah them shows were crazy we had a lot of guests before they got on...tru life & ghetto inmates used to be regulars on out show evil dee was a big supporter of our show we def would give out our address when nikkas talked shyt we would invite them down to the show to fight live on TV lol and star and buck wild stole our formula of shyt talking lol
