LOL... I have been said this. Urban Radio is pretty much dead.. The same way Rock radio died.

It's funny hearing Hot 97 and 105.1 playing EDM music now... The Host and DJ's are just trying to save their careers. It's hilarious because 3 years ago they were so against it.

He's 100% right....in San Diego, that shyt is pretty much nonexistent already, it's all top 40/pop, and besides country, all the other stations have followed suit, because radio is dying period, urban, pop, whatever, they are trying to make the stations accessible as possible to anyone who will listen. I hardly listen to radio anyway, but I remember when it was really important in 6th grade-high school. That was the only place to hear new music lol, now it's the last place for new music.

Yoo, when I was in San Diego I couldn't find any urban radio to save my life. One minute you'll hear Rihanna and the next it's that "started with a whisper" joint. And they play the same shyt over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Radio fukking sucks.

What are you confused about? They signed a multi-millionaire dollar deal with clear channel when they were on Power 105 like 7-8 years ago. Everyone knew that, because they were in a bidding war with Hot 97, who offered more money, so it was in the newspapers about the deal
