Tell that to DSC. After 5 series of that depressing crap and it's woeful characters and 2 series of just awful Picard I'll take any episode that doesn't take itself seriously and as many of them as they want to do. Trek is fun again and they've obviously taken note how much people enjoyed LDS & Prodigy. Too much? Maybe, but I'll take it over the absolute dirge we had in recent years.

Episode 9 might have been one of my favorite "shuttle crash lands on planet" episodes of the entire franchise.
In the TNG era those episodes usually bored me, Only ones I like is the ones from DS9 with Quark and Sisqo and Quark and Odo got stuck on a planet away from the main cast for most of the episode.
I thought this episode was gonna be a chore to get through but I liked it a lot by the end

I was halfway asleep during the middle of it, but they stuck the landing and it came together right in the last 5/10 minutes.
Good finale but more importantly when is Pelia going to tell us some stories of when she

Finished the season, better than the first two.
Not everything worked, like the pilot's brother storyline and nurse chapel boyfriend. Also, the Vezda went out with a whimper.
We'll see what the last two seasons are like...
