You didn't say that at first, and the franchise has always been very popular
I know, I've been playing it for over a decade, that's why I meant in comparison to league and dota. GO just started to reach league and dota numbers, but still isn't as popular, I think it's more popular then dota but not league at this point

The environments just look like they need buildings. shyt to go inside of. Seen 3 stages and they all look like wide landscapes with nothing on them.

for console plebs, Counter-Strike is quickly becoming one of the most popular games in the world.

I don't know what exactly you all expected though, this is what battlefront is :manny: and the people playing in these vids are fukking garbage


I have a PC, the FPS genre is boring as shyt to me :yeshrug:

my question is will playing in third person put you at a disadvantage online... it would seem it must since you can be more accurate in in FP...

i just hate the way characters hold their guns in battlefield games... they looks limp wristed.
well third person has the advantage of being able to see over and around cover

I'm not a fan of the genre, shyt has gotten so stale to me and I don't like the type of game CS is either. Games in tight corridors and small maps bore me to death, it's the same shyt over and over again.
the subtle complexity of counter-strike is hard to convey. grenades change everything and add insane layers of skill to the game. It's not all close corridors. There is usually a "long" and "short" route to a bombsite that you can take. And using grenades to smoke/molotov/flash off is what separates average players from good ones. Idk, shyt is intense and skillful, pretty fun.

Ah, I get you. Yeah, that's what flavor battlefield always provided, just random ridiculous encounters. I think battle front will provide that aspect, but I can't help but miss when EA would release developer kits for their games, a modding community built around that engine could be incredible. EA is making a mistake not providing one because a modding community greatly increases the longevity of your products.

True I played the alpha and that shyt is all put in the open there isn't a marking system


Where you can mark a enemy or a point of a objective for a squad they have a partner system

Which is shytty there's one objective where 20 guys might be defending a post inside a building do that shyt is impossible to take over
