Are you talking the entire history of both teams? And the other questions is a no brainer xmen is by far the better franchise. Better characters and story lines for pretty much the past 50 years.

to make it fair the last 15 years,
GotG will mop the floor with the xmen.
Nova alone beats most of the xmen line up, maybe emma or jean could kinda shut him down...maybe. But then again, it depends on the xmen line up the right combo would be nasty too.
Magik, jean, magneto, scott and domino would be able to give them a good run for there money, through in juggernaut or colossus as a tank instead of domino and thats even better.

u forgot about cosmo, GotG's telepathic, russian, talking space dog. he might not be on jean's level, but he can shield the team from telepathic attacks.
