Their company their rules. :yeshrug:

Anybody that's not a right-wing conspiracy idiot is vaccinated by now anyway, so whatever.

Trump's dumbass is also vaccinated, so what's your point? Plus he was also part of the problem.

Because you and many on this site aren't particularly smart, here's the Mayo Clinic COVID tracker:
U.S. COVID-19 vaccine tracker: See your state’s progress

62% of the country is vaccinated. That means over 130M people aren't. This isn't all in Red states. This is in Blue states as well. In New York State, which is a Blue stronghold, over 5M people are not vaccinated.

Trump's dumbass is also vaccinated, so what's your point? Plus he was also part of the problem.

So you're right wing conspiracy theorists, got it :russell:

Fully remote is the way. I'm interviewing for a few of those right now. My employer has banned unvaccinated people from entering our physical locations, but we're getting COVID cases left and right. Need to accept that no vaccine is going to stop this and bleeding talent over something silly like this doesn't help your company. It takes months, if not a year, to fully integrate someone from the outside into that role. That's not even mentioning the 100s of thousands it takes to onboard someone then waste time training them. We're not just talking about skills, but understanding of the culture and ability to work with the team. 4.5M people resigned in November. It is a job seekers market.

all of this is nonsense

At-will or not, they know the lawsuits are coming. Citi is doing the same and withholding peoples bonuses. They can only get them if they sign waivers that say they won't sue.
You can’t sue when you are fired as an at will employer unless it’s discrimination. You think Nike lawyers didn’t think of that before saying “yea we are fine to proceed” ?

People like you who turned this site into an echo chamber are partly why this forum is in the gutter when it comes to debate. I provided a legitimate website which aggregates data and that's all you can say.

This sucks, but it kind of is what it is. Stuff like this is really just the peak of two different things.

On one hand, businesses are largely allowed to approach their business however they see fit, and this is a case of the company doing what it thinks is best for themselves and their shareholders. Never forget that ultimately, a company's responsibility will be to its shareholders. Doing right by customers and employees are mere byproducts of that.

On the other, people have said that we need to stop worrying so much about the virus, and learn how to live with it. This is what that looks like. Companies are going to find whatever way they can to limit the effects the virus can have on their production, and if that means that you need fire people and restaff, that's probably a more acceptable setback than having to deal with the increased possibility of an outbreak crushing your productivity via unvaccinated employees. We're two years deep into this shyt. If you didn't see a moment like this coming, I'm really not sure what to tell you.
