starting to think empathy is overrated

i had this realization last weekend. Empathy has caused me to be genuine, make great art, make genuine although few and far friends. It has allowed me to connect with people on the deepest level imaginable. but unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that it is overrated.

As a built big black man, I have lived a great deal of my life with everyone being scared of me. In order to fit into society, I had to learn how to "make people feel comfortable", because just my presence alone makes people uncomfortable. I can walk through a crowd and people will shy away from eye contact with me when i know they clearly see me. They are either scared, or jealous of the power and presence i possess (i get this from lots of insecure "bodybuilders" and shyt).

After seeing how I am treated by the bulk of society and how i am at the mercy of their stereotypes, their racism, their preconceived notions, and their false image of me, I really understand why the world is the way it is now. People aren't shyt and don't deserve to be saved. They don't deserve a "perfect" society. They are fueled by their ego, greed and jealousy. They truly don't deserve peace and happiness. fukk em all. The only answer is to capitalize off of their ignorance and insecurity. Who cares about their true needs. Just take their resources and leave them be, because they deserve to be emotionally and financially raped.

It even got so deep that i realized that I cant even take ANYTHING including racism personally. That shyt has nothing to do with me. Sure, I am affected by it, but I realize that it is an agenda that is pushed to divide the masses so they're not unified to create a better world and they are wasting their energy on inferior things and distractions that will keep other people in power. I fukk with very little people and I will give them my empathy, but I realize that the vast majority of humans don't DESERVE a better world. They wouldn't even know what to do in it or how to operate in such a peaceful and happy place because their minds are built from HATE and INSECURITY. USE these knuckleheads for your best benefit because that's all they are worth besides the negativity they bring into this world.

I'm done being genuine to everybody and trying to save the world. fukk the vast majority of yall. Die a hero or live long enough to see yaself become a villain

and that is my own insecurity- not being accepted. I have a better chance being accepted more into society if i just capitalized and prospered financially. The downside is I'd attract more fake people, but at least i will have more freedom to do as I'd like.

I went through this a few months back and I'm just now finally getting out of the bubble of hatred. Don't let it consume you man, anger for everyone is more destructive to you than anyone else.

Empathy is the most important human emotion in my opinion. If everyone possessed it in its truest form, there would be very little conflict. And even if there was conflict, it would be resolved quickly.

Understanding however that most people do not possess it to an extent where they are constantly applying it is important. This means you can treat people accordingly and give empathy to those who deserve it. Always be empathetic, but reserve action to those who are important. The rest, just let it go. You can understand their situation, feel sorry for them, but realize that they ultimately aren't worthy of your respect. It doesn't mean you hold contempt, just that you respect yourself and your time.

Bill Cosby had a quote that went along the lines of " I don't know the key to success, but I know the key to failure is trying to please everybody".

Release the hatred for the world bro, and focus on the love for the important things in your life. Career, family, health, friends and ultimately living the best life you can.

I'm very sensative and empathetic but somewhere along the way I started to think the worst of people. I'm also generous but once I realized I was more of a manipulator I knew I was no better than anybody else. Everybody is just trying to find their way in this hell hole called earth. As long as you can treat people with respect you don't need to care about them.
