Netflix definitely set up Diddy with the film crew before the trial. I would be willing to bet that this was always the intended purpose.
But 50 Cent was more than happy to do this. Saying he was used is a little disingenuous.

lol. this is a win win for 50. he setting up his own studio, so a deal with literally the biggest entertainment company in the world right now is something huge for his own endeavours
