Sad state of affairs for both parties. Because that driver is about to spend the rest of their life in prison. But it honestly looks like they may have been trying to avoid the cop. Who definitely had no chance of making it across the street to put that spike strip down.

But any time you go on a high speed chase its potential of killing somebody. Many of us have been there and considered it I think(a high speed chase,not stealing cars)
