On a regular person level. I nikkas in nyc still maintain a nycha apartment in the projects and got city and state jobs. I know a mta train operator who making like 80k still in the projects. They not tryna give up those units, nobody tryna give up those apartments shyt is generational at this point. Of course it's not in their name directly, they rent be like 150/300 a month.
