Staying in your hometown vs. Moving away....what did yall do?

I always said I would never come back here but, here I am.

I took a job here after graduation and 2 years flew by like that Technically, I'm in Philly but, I consider it my hometown because I grew up 20 miles away and spent alot of time here growing up. Thus, I'm basically around the same people.

It's weird. Some days I hate that I'm here and I want to get in a car and drive as far as possible. Then other days I think about settling down here. Some days I never want to see anybody again. Just want a fresh start. Then other days I think about my mom, friends and family and how I'd barely see them if I moved.

I'm stuck

A lot of people are complacent around there...not knocking them but that lifestyle wasn't for me.

I only have one life and want to see as much as possible elsewhere.

Ive moved around a lot, but something about this place keeps calling me back. Its a trap. And im just that... TRAPPED

But after college I plan on moving to Seattle or Chicago but when I'm around 40 I'm getting a house built down here in Alabama.

Grew up in Miami, moved away after college and don't plan on moving back. Its been three years. I'm in ATL now and am fairly happy.

I'm just here because I can't afford to move into the big city. Eventually I will move into the main Houston area but eventually I will end up in Florida.
